• how open it is to foreign investment;
• Whether her currency is strengthening.

Thus, not only the international situation, but also domestic politics in the country are thoroughly analyzed. In calculating the security rating, risk scores are assigned. The higher the index, the worse the position in the table.

In addition to the ratings of authoritative publications, there are methods of studying security at the level of international institutions. Such is the Global Peace Index. It is considered one of the most significant in the world since 2007.

It is compiled by the Institute of Peace in collaboration with the Conflict Research Center at the University of Sydney, Australia, and takes into account parameters:

• level of criminality;
• solving crimes;
• foreign policy;
• military expenditures;
• number of refugees
• the level of violence in the country, and so on.
